Eddie Alvarez once described Conor McGregor sparring with Artem Lobov, stating he witnessed the Irishman beat up the Russian for three hours.

'Notorious' is currently engaged in a legal battle with his former sparring partner and friend. Lobov recently filed a lawsuit seeking millions in restitution, with the Russian claiming that he played a major role in helping the Irishman launch his whiskey brand.

In a recently surfaced video on Twitter, Alvarez can be heard describing the scene of Conor McGregor sparring with Artem Lobov during an interview:

"I remember him bringing in that poor [chap]. Some training guy, they padded him up real well and Conor just beat the s**t out of him for three hours. I thought it was the funniest s**t I've ever seen... They padded him up with all kinds of pads and Conor just beat the living s**t out of him, I felt bad for him... I think it was that guy Artem."

Alvarez faced McGregor back in 2016 at UFC 205, where he lost the lightweight championship after getting knocked out in the second round. Conor McGregor became a two-division champion with that win over the American.

'Notorious' never defended his lightweight belt and was stripped of the title after his infamous bus incident post UFC 223 media day, which was an effort to avenge his former friend, Artem Lobov.

Conor McGregor wants to settle his dispute with Artem Lobov with a trial by combat

Conor McGregor claimed he wants to fight Artem Lobov to settle their legal differences, posting a now-deleted voice note on Twitter to issue a call out to his former friend.

McGregor and his business partners sold a majority stake in Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey to Proximo Spirits for a reported $600 million in 2021. 'The Russian Hammer' has demanded five percent of the proceeds earned after he claimed there was an agreement in place that wasn’t honored once the sale was finalized. Earlier this year, Lobov claimed that he gave McGregor the idea of selling the Irishman's branded whiskey.

However, the Irish superstar is not keen on legal procedure and instead issued a challenge to his former training partner for a fight "for the whole lot." Sharing a voice note on Twitter, McGregor said:

“This is a call out to Artem, the fanny, fairy pad, Lobov, I’m challenging you to a fight tonight 10:30 p.m. I’ll meet you down at SBG Concorde and we’ll fight for the whole lot. Going through having lawyers message me about defamation and all this suing and all."

'Notorious' continued:

"You’re a little blouse, mate. I’ll see you at SBG Concorde tonight at 10:30 p.m. and I’ll fight you for the whole lot. Answer this f****** call out, you little blouse."
