During a recent episode of his popular Chattin Pony podcast, Paddy Pimblett welcomed Hollywood star Frank Grillo, who proceeded to list some of his favorite UFC fighters to the Scouser.
Grillo is known for a number of projects, with his portrayals of Crossbones in Marvel's 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier', Frank Campana in 'Warrior', and Diaz in 'The Grey' arguably being his most notable roles. The 57-year-old has a good relationship with multiple UFC stars and has a passion for the sport.
While spending time with Paddy Pimblett, the actor revealed some of his best-ever UFC fighters to the world and gave props to Royce Gracie for essentially changing the game early on in mixed martial arts:
"I love Royce. Royce kind of beat the odds, you know. He's not the biggest, he's not the strongest, he's not the most talented, and he proved [that] jiu-jitsu was a superior martial art... I've had many favorites. One of my favorites, only because he was so strong and dominating, was Matt Hughes back in the day. I brought Matt Hughes onto my show Kingdom, 'cause on the show, I had a fight... I got to fight him and feel his strength and we had a ball... But I love the old guys, man. I'm friends with Randy Couture, I love Chuck Liddell, I love all the original guys."
Each fighter Grillo mentioned is a huge staple of the UFC and the sport as a whole. During their heyday, they were all some of the greatest fighters in the world.

Paddy Pimblett has been out of the octagon since his impressive submission victory over Jordan Leavitt last time out, but the Brit is preparing to return to action at UFC 282 on December 10.
