The 18-year-old's fire to get his hand raised inside the Mecca of Muay Thai will be a sweet reward, having spent close to three months tirelessly working alongside Thai greats, Superbon, Nong-O Hama, Superlek Kiatmoo9, and Petchtanong Petchfergus, at Superbon Training Camp in the Thai capital.

He stresses that his drive to succeed in his upcoming assignment has been instilled in him from day one since he jetted off to Bangkok to start fight camp.

"I've been putting that hunger and mindset into training, and I will bring that same fire into this fight," he declared, indicating his setback has intensified rather than diminished his competitive drive.

As a fighter who's done his bit to impress every time he fights on the global stage, 'Jojo' appears to be ready than ever to produce the same magic at ONE Fight Night 32.

Johan Ghazali ready for any scenario against Diego Paez

Diego Paez will have a tough task at hand on fight night.

As such, it wouldn't come as much of a surprise if he mimics a bit of Johan Estupinan and Nguyen Tran Duy Nhat's style, the only two fighters who have beaten Johan Ghazali in four-ounce gloves Muay Thai, when they trade inside the Lumpinee Stadium.

However, Johan Ghazali says he has shifted his gears during fight camp to ensure he doesn't make the same mistakes as he did against Estupinan and Nguyen.

So, if Paez does come in with a similar flair, 'Jojo' told Nick Atkin in a separate interview that he'd be more than ready to capitalize on any opportunity. He said:

"Hell, you never know with this kind of fighters, you know. But, I feel like if anyone would want to win against me, they would try to copy that kind of style, but we're ready for it."

"You know, I've learned from my mistakes, and he can come at me with any style, you know. I'll be ready," he added.
