Diego Paez is coming for a statement victory at ONE Fight Night 32.
After coming up short in his promotional debut in February, the Colombian-American standout is set for another tough test against 18-year-old teen phenom Johan Ghazali on Friday, June 6, inside the iconic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
Speaking with Nick Atkin ahead of his sophomore appearance, Paez expressed confidence that he'll not only come out on top, but he'll put 'Jojo' away inside the distance.

"Of course, I want to finish," Paez said. "I've visualized multiple finishes against him. I've seen plenty of holes, and I'm excited to go out there and fill them. I'm feeling confident as ever. I feel ready. I feel good."
Paez walks into ONE Fight Night 32 with 17 total wins on his resume, including an impressive 10-0 run as an amateur. Along the way, he's captured multiple titles, including the WCK 130-pound championship.
Diego Paez believes footwork will be the key to beating Johan Ghazali at ONE Fight Night 32
With Johan Ghazali coming up short in two of his last three outings, Diego Paez has undoubtedly spent ample time studying his opponent's losses.
Offering some thoughts on what he believes is Ghazali's biggest weakness, Paez told the promotion:
"I like to use all of my tools, and based off his losses that I’ve seen, he seems to have trouble with people that move and don’t stay right in front of him."
Will Paez's footwork be enough to get his first win in ONE Championship, or will Johan Ghazali's new and improved skill set prove to be too much for the Classic Fight Team product?
ONE Fight Night 32 will air live on ONE Championship’s YouTube channel, the ONE Super App, and watch.onefc.com on Friday, June 6.
