Former undisputed ONE strawweight kickboxing world champion Jonathan Di Bella of Canada and Italy simply cannot wait for the day when he gets the opportunity to reclaim his lost gold.
Di Bella surrendered his belt to rival Prajanchai PK Saenchai earlier this year at ONE Friday Fights 68, when he dropped a five round unanimous decision to the Thai superstar in Bangkok.
Since then, Di Bella has been zeroed in on getting his belt back and he cannot wait to get back in the ring.
Speaking to Sportskeeda MMA in an exclusive interview, Di Bella said he has tunnel vision on reclaiming the ONE strawweight kickboxing world title.
The Team Di Bella Kickboxing representative said:
"I want to become a world champion again. No, not really just the belt. Anybody who has the belt at the time. I wanna get the belt."
Prajanchai PK Saenchai still holds the gold and is definitely keeping it warm for Di Bella. But the Canadian-Italian star is confident he can make another run up to the throne and book the Prajanchai rematch in due time.
However, Di Bella must get past his next opponent in order to make that a reality. It's certainly not an easy task.
