Bryce Mitchell has continued to challenge Joe Rogan to a debate about the Flat Earth Theory.

The rising UFC featherweight star has been trying to get Rogan to agree to a debate over the past several weeks. Mitchell also revealed that it bothers him that Rogan would think less of certain people for their beliefs, without giving them the chance to defend their position.

During an interview with James Lynch of Sportskeeda MMA, Bryce Mitchell said:

"The thing is, if I call somebody stupid, make fun of them for their beliefs, I'm gonna explain to them exactly why. So I can do that in a debate, but he wants to call people stupid, but then not debate them. That's my problem. If he wants to call me stupid, at least debate me. And then tell me... explain to me why I'm stupid and how I'm wrong. And I'll explain to you as to why I believe you're wrong."

Mitchell added that he wanted to have a debate on the Joe Rogan Experience (JRE) Podcast – the UFC commentator's wildly-popular show on Spotify. That way, according to Mitchell, the debate will be heard by the podcast's millions of listeners.

"I mean that'd be great that would be the best place to do it... I wanna prove him wrong and in front of as many people as possible. So that's why I want the podcast, but if he wants to have breakfast at Waffle House and talk about it, that fine with me."

What did Joe Rogan's say about Flat Earthers that irked Bryce Mitchell?

Joe Rogan has castigated his friend and renowned Brazilian jiu-jitsu coach Eddie Bravo on his podcast for agreeing with Bryce Mitchell about the shape of the Earth.

However, Rogan provided a reasonable explanation as to why he thinks Flat Earthers are illogical. During episode #938 of the JRE podcast with Lawrence Krauss, Rogan said:

"People keep saying in this flat Earth theory thing that there's no images of the Earth in full and that they're all composites. That's not true. There are images of the Earth that are taken every 10 minutes by this satellite and they're high resolution. You can access them online anytime you want. People see those and they wanna believe it's fake but yet they believe that there's an ice wall around Antarctica that you cross over and you fall into the abyss. Where is this photo of the ice wall?"
