Undefeated Turkish lightweight sensation and upcoming ONE world title challenger Alibeg Rasulov is heading into his next fight full of confidence, even as he is set to face a two-division monster in the returning Christian Lee.
Rasulov will bring his unblemished 15-0 professional mixed martial arts record into the ONE Championship ring to challenge for the ONE lightweight MMA world title. And he believes he has the secret sauce to beating Lee and taking home the gold.
Speaking to ONE Championship in a recent interview, Rasulov says he has better wrestling than Lee, and it will carry him to divisional supremacy when the two throw down next week.
The unbeaten 31-year-old Hyperion Fighters representative said:
"It’s in our blood. In general, we [Turkish fighters] love to wrestle. I mostly wrestle in all my fights. This is my base, and this base helps me win fights."
Christian Lee is coming off an almost-two year layoff after the untimely death of his younger sister Victoria 'The Prodigy' Lee in December of 2022. Lee currently holds the ONE welterweight and lightweight MMA world titles, and is making his highly anticipated comeback next week to resume his epic career.
