Jeff Molina is currently suspended by the Nevada State Athletic Commission and the New York State Athletic Commission due to substantial involvement in the betting scandal surrounding James Krause. 'El Jefe', who was the No.13-ranked flyweight at the time of his suspension, is banned from competing in UFC events until the legal issues are resolved. Mixed martial arts fans took to Twitter to allege that Molina was seen on video performing a NSFW act.

Twitter user @st6rgirIl stated:

"cant believe i had to see that jeff molina video....."

@knuckles_stan used an image of UFC President Dana White to express their reaction while adding:

"Me not being on Twitter very much the past couple days only to come back to see the Jeff Molina incident"

@Cameronwmma showed sympathy for Molina, stating:

"This Jeff Molina thing is kinda sad. Can't imagine how hard it would be to be forced out due to leaked videos. With some of the characters in MMA hes going to have a really tough time now, and he shouldn't have to deal with that"

@badvibescartel questioned:

"Why is Jeff Molina s**king d**k on my TL?"

@IceColdVengence and @gtadam87 both showed support for Molina, while the latter suggested there was a double standard:

"Anybody who thinks any less of Jeff Molina today than they did yesterday is a bigot #GrowUp"
"The reactions by some of you to the jeff molina video just shows how toxic the MMA community is when it come to homosexuality of any sort! But the same people don’t say a dam thing about nunes and her wife 🙄 #MMATwitter"

@Grapegone used a clip from The Boondocks to joke about Molina's fanbase, while adding:

"Jeff Molina fans after seeing that video 😭"

@MagicM_MMA also joked about the situation:

"I knew Jeff Molina always had that finishing instinct."

Jeff Molina wore UFC's Pride month shorts in his last bout before suspension

Molina previously faced backlash from the mixed martial arts community for wearing UFC's Pride month shorts in his most recent appearance in the octagon. The suspended flyweight responded to the backlash after the bout, stating:

"I picked the colors because I thought it looked cool, and then also it supports a good cause. I’ll support anything of a community that’s been oppressed and ostracized for some time for something they can’t help. I’ll get behind any of that... I just thought in 2022 people would be a little more open-minded and not pieces of s**t, but I guess I was wrong. It’s just crazy to me. People were saying some crazy s**t... Mind your own business, it doesn’t concern you. Get f**ked."

Molina was on a ten-fight win streak prior to his suspension. He is 3-0 since joining the UFC in 2020 after earning a contract on Dana White's Contender Series.
