Jon Jones has been on an X/Twitter tirade, with Tom Aspinall being his primary target. The reigning UFC heavyweight champion believes that the Englishman should be aiming to fight the current crop of heavyweights instead of him, despite the fact that Aspinall is the interim champion in pursuit of a title unification.
Additionally, Jones is neglecting the fact that Aspinall has defeated three of the current top five in decisive fashion, and half of the top 10. Nevertheless, Jones implied that Aspinall is deliberately avoiding other top heavyweights. So, when a fan called for Jones to be stripped, 'Bones' said the following:
"There's an interesting take! Sh*t, I'm 37 years old now. My body hurts everywhere if I'm being honest. Funny how Tommy boy talks zero sh*t to the studs of his generation. Barely even mention their names."

In a separate exchange with another fan, Jones was asked how he would defeat Aspinall in a fight. However, the heavyweight champion revealed that he would do so by not giving him the chance. Unfortunately, it's unclear what he means by it.
Does he mean he would dominate Aspinall so thoroughly that the Englishman would have no chance of beating him? Or does he mean he won't give Aspinall the chance to fight him at all?
"By not even giving him the chance"
Despite Aspinall's frustrations, he may have to settle for the reality that he and Jones will never share the octagon. Until then, though, it is up to the UFC to strip Jones of the heavyweight title and promote Aspinall.
Jon Jones has just one defense of his heavyweight title
Jon Jones captured the heavyweight title at UFC 285 in an easy first-round submission win over Ciryl Gane. Despite fan demand for a follow-up bout between him and Tom Aspinall, 'Bones' elected to face Stipe Miocic, with the two men originally set for 295, before a pec tear sidelined Jones.

The two men eventually met at UFC 309, with Jones beating Miocic with supreme ease via third-round TKO. Despite his legacy as an all-time great heavyweight, Miocic had been inactive for years at the time, and was not only in his 40s, but also coming off a brutal UFC 260 knockout loss to Francis Ngannou.
