Khamzat Chimaev's return to the octagon has not been announced despite 'Borz' claiming that he has accepted bouts with multiple top contenders.

The No.3-ranked welterweight recently sat down with Ariel Helwani of The MMA Hour.

Chimaev revealed his pick for a potential boxing match between Nate Diaz, who he was set to face at UFC 279 prior to missing weight, and Jake Paul, stating:

"He will kill him that guy. Diaz, too weak, too old. Five years ago, if they fought against each other, no, but now, Diaz too old. You see his older brother, his last fight, I was watching that fight. I was saying, 'why UFC put this guy in the cage?' He's like seventy years old. Too old that guy. The same his brother become old as well. They both become old."

Khamzat Chimaev continued:

"They've been making money, making fights, a lot of them I watched before - I know a lot of their fights. Many fights. They both are originally from the UFC. They are funny guys. Now, it's time old. People become old. Now, we younger guys come in and we take over."

Khamzat Chimaev's return: 'Borz' claims Bo Nickal is not ready to face him

Bo Nickal has angled for a bout with Khamzat Chimaev, claiming that he would be able to defeat the No.3-ranked welterweight.

'Borz' recently responded to those claims while speaking with Ariel Helwani of The MMA Hour, stating:

"Maybe we'll meet some day. He's a good fighter, but still I didn't see so much. In three years, we'll see. When I come up maybe we'll fight for the title one day. It's too early to fight me and him. He didn't become 100% a fighter. If they put against me, that guy, now, I'm going to break him in three rounds. If they put me later, we'll make some fun fight for everyone."

Chimaev claimed that Nickal must be 'stupid' to think he can currently defeat him. While 'Borz' has spent much of his career competing at welterweight, he has teased a move to the middleweight division, where Nickal currently competes. Although they are at different stages of their careers, the No.3-ranked welterweight is not ruling out a bout down the line.
