Makhmud Muradov and Caio Borralho are set to clash on the preliminary card at UFC 280 this weekend.

Muradov will be making his fifth appearance in the UFC, while this will mark Borralho's third outing in the promotion. Makhmud 'Mach' Muradov made his UFC debut against Alessio Di Chirico at UFC Fight Night 160, winning via unanimous decision.

Caio 'The Natural' Borralho, meanwhile, fought on Dana White's Contender Series twice, winning both fights. He made his promotional debut against Gadzhi Omargadzhiev at UFC Vegas 51, winning via technical decision.

Makhmud Muradov last weighed in at 184.5 pounds against Gerald Meerschaert at UFC Vegas 35. He lost the fight via submission to a rear-naked choke in the second round. The Tajik-born Uzbek fighter's height is 6'2" (187.9 inches).

Caio Borralho last weighed in at 185.5 pounds against Armen Petrosyan at UFC Vegas 58. The Brazilian took home a unanimous decision victory after going the 15-minute distance. Borralho stands slightly shorter than Muradov at 6'1" (185.4 inches)

In terms of reach, both fighters are virtually identical, with Moradov having a 0.5-inch advantage at 75.5 inches over Caio Borralho, who has a reach of 75 inches.

Makhmud Muradov's last win came against Andrew Sanchez at UFC 257, where he finished his opponent via technical knockout.

Caio Borralho's promotional debut against Omargadzhiev was slightly controversial. He was dominating the fight, but ended up throwing an illegal knee at his downed opponent.

Referee Dan Miragliotta initially called the foul, but Omargadzhiev was unable to continue the fight. Deeming the blow unintentional, the fight went to the scorecards, which had Borralho up.

Makhmud Muradov's UFC record is 3-1 and his overall MMA record is 25-7. He's amassed 17 wins by knockout and three via submission in his career.

Borralho, on the other hand, is undefeated in the UFC and has an overall MMA record of 12-1. He is currently on a 11-fight win streak, and has four career wins by knockout and three via submission.

With 32 fights in his career, Makhmud Muradov has more experience coming into this bout against Caio Borralho, who has fought 13 times in his career.

Muradov is primarily a striker with credentials in boxing and kickboxing. Prior to joining the UFC, Muradov held championship belts at promotions like XFN (Xtreme Fighting Nation) and WKN (World Kickboxing Network). Muradov was also on a 14-fight win streak before losing to Meerschaert.

Caio Borralho has a more well-rounded style of fighting, with a black belt in jiu-jitsu under Wagner Mota, Demian Maia's coach. He had a nine-fight win streak before making his promotional debut.

He fought and defeated Aaron Jeffery and Jesse Murray within a span of three weeks on DWCS. Prior to signing with the UFC, he was the Future MMA middleweight champion.
