Malaysian star Jihin Radzuan believes her current teammate Stamp Fairtex will take a knockout finish against Denice Zamboanga one way or another.
Jihin, a former opponent of Stamp's, expects the ONE women's atomweight MMA world champion to knock Zamboanga out either on the feet or on the ground.
Stamp will defend her MMA gold against her close friend Zamboanga in one of the featured world title fights at ONE 167 on June 7 at Impact Arena.
In an interview with Sportskeeda MMA, Jihin said she expects Zamboanga and Stamp to start trading leather at the opening bell.
While both Stamp and Zamboanga are capable strikers, Jihin believes the Thai superstar will have the upper hand once the match goes to the canvas.
"We all know that she's very strong in her striking. I see this fight is gonna be a striking exchange, and if it's going to the ground, she would finish it with ground and pound," said Jihin Radzuan.
Jihin once fought Stamp at ONE on Prime Video 2 but came up short and lost via unanimous decision to the former ONE atomweight kickboxing and Muay Thai world champion.
'Shadow Cat' has since made Fairtex Training Center her home stable and became one of Stamp's training partners in Pattaya, Thailand.
ONE 167 marks the first time Stamp defends her atomweight MMA throne and the entire card is available live and free to all Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.
Jihin Radzuan says she puts Stamp through the wringer every day in training
Despite facing off against each other inside the circle, Jihin Radzuan and Stamp continue to elevate each other every day in training.
Those training sessions, however, are just a crowd away from being a real sanctioned fight.
In the same interview with Sportskeeda MMA, Jihin said she and Stamp routinely give each other the hardest time in hopes of polishing every aspect of their game:
"We know we are killing each other in training, I know in training, I'm giving her a hard time in training," said Jihin.
