Michael Bisping shares evidence to suggest Paddy Pimblett lied about submitting Jared Gordon during BJJ sparring

Paddy Pimblett is set to face Jared Gordon this weekend in the co-main event of UFC 282. Despite having never fought him before, 'The Baddy' claims that this is not the first time the two have met.

Whilst speaking to Michael Bisping recently, Pimblett claimed to have rolled with Gordon at the Renzo Gracie BJJ Academy in New York and submitted him twice in five minutes.

In the pre-fight press conference, 'Flash' denied that the incident took place, which led Bisping to do some research into Pimblett's claims. 'The Count' messaged close friend of Gordon and fellow UFC commentator Paul Felder to inquire about the incident.

Felder asked 'Flash' if he recalled what happened at the Renzo Gracie Academy. The message that Felder sent to Bisping painted an entirely different picture to the one described by Pimblett.

Bisping said this:

"Felder said, and I quote, 'I just talked to him, Jared said that he saw Paddy there but they never rolled. Paddy was just sitting on the mat, and never looked at him.' So according to Jared Gordon, they never rolled or spoke. According to Paddy Pimblett, he rolled with him and tapped him out."

Paddy Pimblett is set to face the toughest test of his career so far when he steps into the octagon against Jared Gordon.

'The Baddy' is planning on knocking his opponent out in the first round this weekend. But should the fight hit the floor, fans will be able to see if Pimblett's claim that he is a better grappler than 'Flash' is true.

Paddy Pimblett will be taking on Jared Gordon in the co-main event of UFC 282 this weekend. 'The Baddy' took the promotion by storm in September 2021 and has tallied three victories in the octagon in no time at all.

With a background in grappling, Pimblett boasts a first-degree black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and has nine submission wins and six KO victories in his career.

But the Scouser's KO victories could soon overtake his submission victories. According to 'The Baddy', his striking has improved tremendously ahead of UFC 282.
