Michael Bisping has been a strong supporter of his countryman Darren Till throughout the latter's UFC career. While the No.10-ranked middleweight has not found success lately, losing four of his past five fights, the UFC Hall of Famer went to bat for him once again ahead of UFC 282.

Speaking on his podcast, Bisping, the former middleweight champion stated:

"Darren's still a young man, he's learning, he's getting better. He's learning about the preparation and he's learning about the mental side of things. Being in a position where you're the belle of the ball, you're the guy that's getting promoted to all of a sudden, he was kind of on the prelims up until very recently, that fires you like you wouldn't believe. People turning their back on you, people not believing in you, people writing you off. That can be such a motivator if you use it in the correct way."

Micahel Bisping added:

"When I got knocked out against Dan Henderson, UFC 100, everyone laughed at me. Before that, I was the guy in England, I was the man pushing the sport, I was the man doing 100 interviews a week with English journalists spreading the word and the gospel of the UFC. I got knocked out, none of those guys wanted to speak to me anymore."

Bisping added that Till should be extra motivated to prove his naysayers wrong which will make him extremely dangerous at UFC 282. 'The Gorilla' will face No.14-ranked middleweight Dricus du Plessis, who has won his first three fights with the UFC.

Darren Till gifted a pair of boxing gloves by Cody Garbrandt

Darren Till has been preparing for his UFC 282 matchup with Dricus du Plessis at the UFC Performance Institute in Las Vegas, Nevada. The No.10-ranked middleweight recently shared that former bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt gifted him with a pair of boxing gloves.

Till shared a photo of the gloves in a post to his Instagram that he captioned:

"I was training at the @UFC Performance Institute today & I made a joke to @cody_nolove about how my gloves were ripped to shreds & that I needed new ones. I’ve came home to my house & little did I know he gave his gloves he was hitting pads with to my friend. It’s the little things that make the biggest impact, Thank you brother."

After going 17-0-1 in his first 18 fights, Till is just 1-4 over his past five fights. The former welterweight title challenger will look to get back on track at UFC 282 this weekend.
