Michael Chandler explains why he is openly saying yes to every Conor McGregor demand before their fight 

Conor McGregor's return to the octagon will come against Michael Chandler later this year after the fighters coach opposing sides on season 31 of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF). The No.5-ranked lightweight recently shared why has accepted all of the demands given by the double champ ahead of their bout.

Speaking to Oscar Willis of TheMacLife, 'Iron' stated:

"You can't listen to people on social media. At some point, we're just competitors and we want to compete. I could care less if I had to somehow make 145 or I went all the way up to 185. At some point, this is the fight that I want, it's a fight that he wants, it's a fight that I think the world wants so any venue, any weight class, whenever."

Michael Chandler added:

"It's not because I want the fight by any means because obviously people could talk about the red panty night and they talk about, 'he'll do whatever, he's thirsty' and blah, blah, blah. It's like, no, I want battle grounds of epic proportions. The lights don't get any brighter and the stage does not get any bigger than fighting Conor McGregor."

Michael Chandler added that his desire to face Conor McGregor has grown while filming the latest season of The Ultimate Fighter. He noted that he is hopeful the fight can take place at the Allegiant Stadium, home of the Las Vegas Raiders. While he doesn't mind fighting the former double champ at any weight, he expects the bout to take place at welterweight.

Dana White reveals Conor McGregor's demands for return

Conor McGregor's appearance on The Ultimate Fighter will almost certainly bring more eyes to the show. During a recent appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, UFC President Dana White recently revealed the demands made by the former double champ:

"Conor McGregor was going to coach this season of The Ultimate Fighter and he’s like, ‘yeah, I’ll do it, but I’m bringing two guys that I want to make it right onto the show.’ Then, of course, the f**king media [says], ‘oh, that’s not fair, and what happened to those guys?’ Shut the f**k up. We’ll take care of the guys that aren’t on it, and this is what Conor wants, we’ll give it to him."

While there was controversy regarding the removal of several fighters, White shared that he would take care of them. Loik Radzhabov, one of the fighters removed, made his promotional debut at UFC 285, picking up a victory.
