Rising from humble beginnings in Stockton to carrying massive pay-per-view cards, they have thrilled fans for almost two decades with their unapologetic persona and entertaining fighting style. Together, they have headlined some of the UFC’s biggest cards and built a cult following.

However, eagle-eyed fans noticed the brothers recently unfollowed each other on Instagram. While the exact reasons remain unclear, the move comes amid troubling news about Nick.

Nick’s girlfriend recently publicly accused a family member of drugging him and taking him against his will to a rehab facility in Mexico. She claims Diaz has attempted to escape multiple times but remains confined with restricted communication.

Nick’s recovery coach denied these allegations and said the girlfriend is doing more harm than good by airing grievances online. Their heated exchange spilled onto social media. Jose Garcia took to Instagram and wrote:

"@kay209x go away. You [have] done more damage than help. You need therapy yourself. You need mental health professionals to help you to heal from all the trauma and bullsh*t you and Nick [have] been through STOP POSTING!"

Nick Diaz’s girlfriend responds to allegations amid rehab drama

The drama surrounding Nick Diaz continues to escalate. In a recent Instagram story, his girlfriend pushed back against claims from Diaz’s camp suggesting she is harming the fighter’s recovery.

She accused certain individuals of trying to control Diaz’s life and their relationship. According to her, these parties repeatedly interfere and attempt to isolate Diaz from her. She wrote:

"Over and over group ones fu*k with me whenever I can't get to Nick and they see an opening [to] push us apart for [their] control and agendas, usually threatening us and calling me an ex girlfriend and telling me I'm done and deleted and cancelled [and] never gonna see Nick again. But every time [it] just creates more stupid sh*t for Nick and I to work [through]. But no matter how much time apart we make it back together. That connection isn't yours to define or destroy. I am not on drugs, and I am not an addict. That truth matters and deserves to be respected. You do not represent Nick's wishes."
