Jake Paul is finally ready to sign a contract with Nate Diaz for a fight inside the boxing ring.

Nate Diaz completed his contract with the UFC at UFC 279, where he secured a submission victory over Tony Ferguson in the fourth round of the fight.

While the fighter ended his contract back in September, he was under a negotiation period that prevented him from pursuing fights beyond the UFC. Recent news by MMAFighting revealed that the fighter is finally out of the UFC roster.

With the Stockton native officially becoming a free agent, Jake Paul wasted no time in offering the former UFC star a contract to meet him in the boxing ring.

'The Problem Child' stated on his official Twitter account that he already has a venue booked for the event and that the match will take place once Diaz accepts the contract. Paul wrote:

"Hi Nate. Finally out of your UFC contract? Let’s see how tough you are in the boxing ring instead of hallway slap contests. @NateDiaz209 I have a venue booked. Offer is ready when you are. Just need you to sign."

Jake Paul can no longer be taken lightly after his recent victory over Anderson Silva. Apart from 'The Spider', Paul has previously defeated MMA fighters such as Tyron Woodley and Ben Askren.

Diaz, on the other hand, cannot be questioned on his boxing abilities. Even though the 37-year-old lacks power, he can land his trademark 1-2 combination on anybody and is technically sharp.

With that being the case, it will be exciting to see both fighters compete inside the boxing ring if the matchup ever comes to fruition.

BKFC president wants to sign Nate Diaz

Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship president David Feldman, in an interview with Curran Bhatia, expressed his willingness to sign Nate Diaz.

Speaking of Diaz, the BKFC boss said:

"We will probably end up grabbing him because I think we're going to pay him what we think he's worth, and he's worth more to us than he is to another organization."
