Jiri Prochazka has been nominated by ex-UFC lightweight star Paul Felder as the man to educate Andrew Tate about the levels to striking. Several weeks ago, Tate released footage of him sparring 50 opponents without a break and was able to defeat all of them. But, Felder stated that the real test for the viral figure would come in "quality over quantity" sparring sessions.

'The Irish Dragon' was most well-known for his brutal Muay Thai striking techniques, and was one of the most effective users of elbow strikes in modern UFC lightweight history.

After retiring from the sport in 2020, Felder has become a major feature on the promotion's broadcast team. He will be a part of this weekend's (June 14) commentary team for UFC on ESPN 69.

While reacting to footage on Instagram of Tate sparring, Felder said:

"Watch, when Andrew's fighting, where his chin goes up. That's such a bad habit and guys that are really long and tall and elusive love to [lean back with their chin up]. You'll see some of the most brutal [knockouts] if guys lift that chin up high. I'd love to see him spar some higher level guys. He should bring in Jiri Prochazka, Jamahal Hill and Khalil Rountree Jr. and see how this style works out for you."

Jiri Prochazka fires back at light heavyweight champion Magomed Ankalaev

Jiri Prochazka suprised the MMA world with his recent announcement that he had turned down a UFC fight due to upcoming university exams. The former light heavyweight champion is coming off one of his best career performances, a TKO win over Jamahal Hill at UFC 311.

The Czech fighter is currently ranked No.2 in the division, and with No.1 ranked contender Alex Pereira having recently lost the title to Magomed Ankalaev, Prochazka is in the running as the next challenger for the belt.
