UFC rising prospect Muhammad Mokaev calls out former title challenger
Surging UFC flyweight contender Muhammad Mokaev

Muhammad Mokaev is one of the UFC's most promising fighters in any weight class. 'The Punisher' currently holds a 10-0-1NC record, and based on his recent tweet, Mokaev is looking to add Alex Perez's name to his list of victims.

Mokaev took to Twitter to highlight the number of canceled bouts that Perez has had in his career, and that he finds it remarkable that the American is ranked No.6 at flyweight. 'The Punisher' even claimed that the UFC should kick him out of the top 15.

Mokaev believes that he can "retire" the former title challenger and stated:

"This guy is ranked number 6 in my division. I’m sure this isn’t normal, Alex Perez I can retire you fast track, just let me know date of your retirement"

See the tweet below:

Alex Perez was most recently scheduled to face Manel Kape at UFC on ESPN 43 but was forced to withdraw from the fight hours before it was meant to happen.

Muhammad Mokaev is currently ranked No.12 in the flyweight division, and a victory over Perez could see him enter title contention. 'The Punisher' last competed at UFC 286 several weeks ago, where many thought he was moments away from tasting defeat for the first time.

Mokaev faced off against Jafel Filho and won via submission in Round 3. Filho had caught the Brit in a tight knee bar submission earlier in the same round, and it seemed that 'The Punisher' was moments away from tapping before he miraculously escaped.

UFC rising prospect Muhammad Mokaev calls out Manel Kape

Muhammad Mokaev appears desperate to prove to fans and the UFC that he can beat a top 10 ranked flyweight in the promotion. 'The Punisher' called out Alex Perez earlier today on Twitter and has now called out the man Perez was supposed to fight at UFC on ESPN 43, Manel Kape.

Mokaev believes that Kape is the only man in the division who will accept a fight against the surging prospect. 'Starboy' is currently riding a three-fight win streak and occupies No.9 in the flyweight rankings.

Considering Kape's recent fight with Alex Perez fell through, he may be looking to get back into the octagon as soon as possible. Muhammad Mokaev might just be the perfect dance partner.

'The Punisher' said:

"Mokaev vs Kape. Don’t anyone else from in the rankings who would take this fight apart from this man!"
