Stamp Fairtex wants the atomweight crown, after Anissa Meksen

After the Thai athlete earned an impressive victory over the top five-ranked 'Shadow Cat' at ONE on Prime Video 2, the 24-year-old fighter said she is aiming for a rematch for the world title against Angela Lee.

In an interview with ONE Championship, Stamp Fairtex said:

“I want to go all the way in MMA. I want to challenge Angela Lee for her World Title again before I go back to Muay Thai and kickboxing.”

The Fairtex-trained athlete is booked to face Anissa Meksen at ONE on Prime Video 6 on January 13 in a special rules super fight.

'C18' Meksen has collected world titles in every organization she has competed in, including GLORY Kickboxing. Including boxing, kickboxing, and Muay Thai, the French-Algerian striker has collected major world titles. She is a dangerous opponent for Stamp Fairtex.

On her upcoming opponent and a new challenge, the Thai-born fighter said:

“Well, they were just challenging words. We’re challenging each other to come out, do our best, and then meet in a fight in January. For me and Anissa, it really depends on who gets the chance to go first. Because she might have the punches, but I have my elbows. The fans might never have seen me taking anyone down, but in January, I’m surely going to take down my opponent. I want to submit her.”

Fans are eagerly awaiting Stamp Fairtex's return to the ONE Circle in early 2023.
