While Stamp Fairtex is looking to become a world titleholder in MMA, she is also planning to recapture her former throne in Muay Thai.

Stamp has competed in Muay Thai since she was merely six years old. The surging superstar now wants to prove that she is the best in the world in both MMA and the striking-only sport.

The Thai athlete was a two-sport world titleholder in ONE Championship, having earned world titles in both kickboxing and Muay Thai before she was even 23 years old.

She lost her Muay Thai crown to dangerous Brazilian striker Allycia Hellen Rodrigues, who still reigns to this day.

In an interview with SCMP MMA, 25-year-old Stamp explained her ambition to regain the Muay Thai ONE gold:

"I would like to start with a couple of fights first because in my weight class, there are a lot of really, really good Muay Thai fighters. And then I would like to also fight Allycia [Hellen Rodrigues] for the belt."

Stamp Fairtex aiming for world titles in MMA and Muay Thai

After losing her Muay Thai throne to Brazil's Allycia Hellen Rodrigues, Stamp transitioned her combat sports career to MMA. In her new sport, the Thai athlete has found incredible success.

In 2021, Stamp won the women's atomweight world Grand Prix. She then fought for the world title against long-reigning queen 'Unstoppable' Angela Lee. It was an exciting back-and-forth fight, with Stamp ultimately succumbing to the highly experienced grappling skills of Lee.

Now, Stamp is looking to work her way back to a shot at the world title. The 25-year-old is coming off of a victory over 'Shadow Cat' Jihin Radzuan.

Next, Stamp will have a major test against decorated striking veteran 'C18' Anissa Meksen. The upcoming matchup will test both the Muay Thai and MMA skills of Stamp Fairtex, as the highly anticipated showdown is a mixed-rules superfight.

Stamp Fairtex and Anissa Meksen are both looking forward to proving themselves in the ONE circle. Their matchup is booked for ONE Fight Night 6 on January 13. Fans in North America can watch in primetime on Amazon Prime Video.
