Elite Thai striker Stamp Fairtex is gearing up to take part in ONE Championship's second-ever custom-rules match. As well as her own upcoming outing, Stamp's also looking forward to watching the promotion's first event at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium the following week.

ONE Lumpinee: Nong-O vs. Ramazanov is slated to take place on January 20, live from Bangkok, Thailand. Hosting an event at the legendary venue will certainly only add to the popularity of ONE Championship.

Not only that, but Stamp Fairtex is excited about the prospect of ONE Lumpinee opening the door for young fighters in Thailand. She told SCMP MMA:

"I think that it’s great for ONE Lumpinee to take place in Thailand because it’s opened all the doors and opportunities for the younger fighters of Thailand to be able to showcase their skills."

Stamp added:

"Also, if they keep improving their skills and keep winning, there’s also a good chance to get to the main event of ONE Championship, so it’s a really great opportunity for them."

The 25-year-old has reached incredible heights within the world of combat sports, becoming ONE's first multi-sport champion. She hopes for other athletes to realize similar success.

Stamp Fairtex reveals plans against Anissa Meksen

Stamp will take on French-Algerian striker Anissa Meksen at ONE on Prime Video 6 in a mixed-rules match, which will feature both Muay Thai and MMA. Notably, Meksen is a former Glory kickboxer who is a perfect 3-0 inside the circle.

In the lead-up to the fight, Stamp spoke with SCMP MMA about her plans to combat Meksen's striking and length. She stated:

“I’m planning to do the clinch and be really close to her because she [Meksen] is very good at striking. I would try to stay as close as possible and also use a lot of knees.”

The former atomweight kickboxing champ and Grand Prix tournament winner is planning to put forth her best performance to date in order to earn a title shot. She is coming off of a decision victory over Jihin Radzuan in her most-recent outing.

Make sure to check back for any and all updates regarding Stamp Fairtex's custom rules bout with Anissa Meksen at ONE on Prime Video 6 on January 13, live from Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.
