An MMA fan on Twitter by the name of Andy Hickey recently shared an interesting stat about three UFC fighters from different weight classes, featherweight Max Holloway, former light heavyweight champion Jon Jones and bantamweight contender Marlon Vera.

The stats show that these three fighters have never been knocked down in the octagon or stopped due to strikes in their UFC careers. That leaves the trio as the only fighters with over 20 appearances to have not been dropped or stopped with strikes.

The tweet shows the number of fights and years spent in the organization of each fighter. In the caption to the post, the user pointed out that Drew Dober was knocked down for the first time in 18 UFC fights against Bobby Green at UFC Vegas 66, where he scored a second-round comeback knockout victory over 'King'.

The caption reads:

"Drew Dober was knocked down for the first time in his UFC career this year on [his] 18th appearance in the promotion. There [are] currently 3 fighters in the UFC with 20+ appearances that have never been knocked down or stopped by strikes. I find that seriously impressive."

Max Holloway has had 26 UFC fights in 11 years and held the featherweight title from 2017 to 2019. Despite going toe-to-toe with current featherweight champ Alexander Volkanovski thrice and taking a beating in the third fight, 'Blessed' has never been knocked down or stopped due to strikes.

Jon Jones, meanwhile, has had 22 UFC fights in 14 years and is considered by many to be the greatest of all time in MMA. He won the light heavyweight title twice and defended it 11 times. In 14 years, 'Bones' has never been knocked down or stopped with strikes.
