Dana White recently unleashed a scathing rebuke at the MMA media and personalities for their initial pessimistic portrayal of UFC 300.

Following the triumphant culmination of the promotion's largest and most monumental pay-per-view event to date, the UFC CEO shared one of his notorious media diatribes on Saturday, targeting all the fans and media outlets who had doubted that would be remarkable.

The brief video showcases excerpts from several podcasters and MMA journalists, along with headlines from various media outlets, casting doubts on the event's magnitude. It then highlights several milestones achieved by the UFC during the broadcast last weekend. White said in the clip:

"As we rolled into UFC 300, the MMA experts weighed in on what they thought of UFC 300. And for all the fighters that were on this card, when I said this is the greatest card ever assembled in the history of combat sports, this is what the media thought of you guys."

Initially, a substantial portion of the MMA community expressed disappointment over the caliber of the fight card when White revealed the roster in installments over the past few months.

However, UFC 300 surpassed expectations, emerging as one of the promotion's most grandiose events to date. With a gate of $16.5 million, it ranks as the third highest-grossing UFC event ever, alongside several other noteworthy achievements.

Dana White touts "holy sh*t moments" in wake of Max Holloway's KO of Justin Gaethje at UFC 300

UFC 300, celebrated as the greatest event in the promotion's 30-year history, showcased a five-bout main card featuring two title fights. However, it was the ceremonial 'BMF' title clash between Justin Gaethje and Max Holloway that exceeded all expectations with its exceptional delivery.

Holloway amazed the combat sports world with a dramatic last-second knockout victory over Gaethje. Despite clearly leading on the scorecards, 'Blessed' gestured to the canvas, inviting Gaethje to engage in the center of the octagon in the fight's closing moments.

Following that, there was an unyielding flurry of strikes, culminating in a knockout that witnessed 'The Highlight' crumble to the canvas with only one second remaining in the fifth and final round.

During the post-event press conference, Dana White conveyed his astonishment at the outcome of the Gaethje vs. Holloway bout:

"People always ask me what I do. I sell holy sh*t moments for a living. That was the ultimate holy sh*t moment of all time. If you were at home, if you were in a bar, or if you were here live tonight, there's no bigger holy sh*t than that."
