Tony Ferguson recently made his feelings known on his longtime rivalry with Khabib Nurmagomedov and agreed to squash their beef under one condition. Ferguson expressed genuine interest and even noted that he would stop making jokes at Nurmagomedov's expense.
Ferguson and Nurmagomedov's rivalry date back to their UFC tenure as they were scheduled to fight on several occasions, but never competed against each other due to circumstances out of their control.
The most recent cancellation was a lightweight title clash in 2020, but the global pandemic halted those plans and 'El Cucuy' fought Justin Gaethje instead. Unfortunately for Ferguson, he ended up on the wrong side of a lopsided beating, and has never really been the same since.
Ferguson posted an AI generated photo of himself and Nurmagomedov to his Instagram page and expressed his desire in squashing their beef. 'El Cucuy' did have a condition as he mentioned he wants to serve as a coach opposite 'The Eagle' on The Ultimate Fighter. He wrote:

Tony Ferguson said he would only coach 'The Ultimate Fighter' opposite Khabib Nurmagomedov
Tony Ferguson also recently said that he would only agree to coach 'The Ultimate Fighter' if it's opposite Khabib Nurmagomedov.
In his latest conversation with MMA Junkie, Ferguson expressed interest in coaching opposite his rival and mentioned that Nurmagomedov would honor his father's wishes if he did so. He said:
"I am the only person [Nurmagomedov's] dad said before he passed away that this is the fight to make. Now regardless of if it's a fight, grappling or anything, I know that he does keep his dad's word. And I know that I've never talked about his religion, his wife, or anybody else that goes about it, but I know competition wise, if we keep it cordial, there's no reason why we should not be able to coach against each other."
