Arnold Allen believes T.J. Dillashaw is retiring to exploit the same USADA loophole as Conor McGregor. Commenting on Ariel Helwani's post about Dillashaw's retirement, 'Almighty' wrote:

Allen was referring to the allegations of steroid use that have popped up regarding Conor McGregor as he remains out of the USADA testing pool. The Dubliner's absence from the testing pool for over a year, along with the massive bulking up of his physique, has suddenly sparked rumors of PED use.

According to USADA rules, a returning athlete has to submit two negative tests and be under testing for a minimum period of six months to be cleared for competition. McGregor's recent claims about returning to competition after only two USADA tests also led many to believe that the Irishman is looking to exploit the testing agency's loophole.

Meanwhile, T.J. Dillashaw's manager Tiki Goshn recently told Ariel Helwani and others that the former champ had notified the UFC of his decision to retire. The retirement news comes after Dillashaw competed with a compromised shoulder and dropped a title shot against Aljamain Sterling at UFC 280. Given Dillashaw's disreputable history of PED use, many believe it is another ploy by the former champ to avoid testing for a while.

Joe Rogan on Conor McGregor's absence from the USADA testing pool

Joe Rogan recently joined a long list of fighters who are accusing Conor McGregor of PED use. The UFC color commentator is seemingly convinced about McGregor being on banned substances given the Dubliner's physique.

Rogan was the one to note that USADA allowing athletes to leave the testing pool and then return leaves a gaping loophole that can be exploited by injured athletes. The 55-year-old recently said on The Joe Rogan Experience (JRE) podcast:

“He’s taking his shirt off and posing constantly, and he looks like his piss would melt that USADA cup. Like, it would just like burn a hole right through the bottom of that USADA cup… The weird thing is that there is a loophole in USADA that allows you to get out of the testing pool. You can get out of the testing pool and just juice up.”

Rogan's guest on the JRE podcast, Derek, who recently exposed 'Liver King', also stated that he would be incentivized to use PEDs if he was in Conor McGregor's shoes.
