The UFC is headed to the Rogers Place in Edmonton, Canada, on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2024 (U.S. time) for its upcoming card, UFC Fight Night: Moreno vs. Albazi (also known as UFC Edmonton and UFC Fight Night 246)
In the main event of UFC Fight Night, former flyweight champion and No.2-ranked Brandon Moreno will square off against the No.3-ranked Amir Albazi.
Moreno will enter this fight hoping to get back on track after suffering back-to-back split decision losses. 'The Assassin Baby' dropped the title to Alexandre Pantoja at UFC 290 before coming up short against Brandon Royval earlier this year.
Albazi, meanwhile, is riding a six-fight win streak into this fight with his last five victories coming under the UFC banner. In his latest trip to the octagon, 'The Prince' battled Kai Kara-France to a split-decision win in June 2023. The Iraqi will look to enter title contention with a statement performance this weekend.

No.3-ranked women’s flyweight contender Erin Blanchfield will also feature on the card as she battles the No.5-ranked Rose Namajunas in the co-main event.
Blanchfield will hope to get back on track after suffering her first promotional loss against divisional standout Manon Fiorot in a lopsided decision earlier this year.
Namajunas, on the other hand, lost to Manon Fiorot in her flyweight debut last year. However, 'Thug' rebounded with a unanimous decision win over Amanda Ribas in March before edging out Tracy Cortez four months later in July.
In another intriguing matchup, fan-favorite knockout artist Derrick Lewis will lock horns with Jhonata Diniz in a heavyweight battle.
Also on the UFC UFC Edmonton main card, Marc Andre Barriault will go head-to-head with Dustin Stoltzfus in a middleweight clash. It will be followed by a light heavyweight showdown between Caio Machado and Brendson Ribeiro.
Additionally, Mike Malott will duel with Trevin Giles in a 170-pound contest to kick off the main card.
