VIDEO: Paulo Costa shows off insanely ripped physique as he sends warning to Jake Paul - "He wouldn't get out breathing"

Paulo Costa has issued a callout to Jake Paul in his latest training video. Costa recently showed off his ripped physique while shadowboxing and asked fans to imagine him chasing 'The Problem Child' inside the squared circle.

'Borrachinha' claims that Paul wouldn't be able to survive against him in a potential clash. The 31-year-old UFC middleweight said on Twitter:

"Look at that beast. Imagine I chase Jake Paul in the ring like that. Bouncing the head and the chin like Mike Tyson and bam, bam, bam [throws long combos]. He's die bro, he cannot survive."

Reiterating his feelings, Paulo Costa wrote in the caption:

"Can u imagine I chasing jake in that ring? He wouldn't get out breathing"

Paulo Costa's feud with Paul dates back to UFC 278, when the Brazilian fought a returning Luke Rockhold. 'Borrachinha' picked up a unanimous decision win over the former champion in a somewhat weird, drawn-out affair.

While the bout won 'Fight of the Night' honors, Jake Paul was not impressed with Costa and Rockhold's performances.

Paulo Costa has seemingly redirected his focus to Jake Paul after initially suggesting another opponent

Paulo Costa was asked to weigh in on Jake Paul's comments at the UFC 278 post-fight media scrum. With only one fight remaining on his current UFC contract, Costa challenged 'The Problem Child' to send him a contract once he exhausts his UFC deal.

However, speaking to Ariel Helwani a couple of days later, Costa did not seem very keen on fighting Paul. While 'Borrachinha' did not entirely dismiss the idea, he seemed convinced about Paul wanting to fight only wrestlers.

But Costa had an opponent in mind in case 'The Problem Child' was looking for a real fight: Mike Perry. The Brazilian told Ariel Helwani:

"Of course, I’d like to get easy money fighting him. But I have a better challenge for him: Mike Perry. Mike Perry is almost the same weight class, Mike Perry’s a savage. If he wants a real fight, maybe fight Mike Perry.”

Costa, is currently scheduled to fight Robert Whittaker at UFC 284 in February 2023. It will be interesting to see if he crosses paths with Jake Paul down the line.
