A hilarious moment was caught on camera as Dana White snapped at his production staff for trying to play matchmaker for Ronda Rousey.

Rousey retained her women's bantamweight crown in the co-main event of UFC 175 in 2014. This was back when 'Rowdy' was at the peak of her powers, and no woman ever got close to hurting her.

UFC 176 was scheduled a month away from Rousey's bout against Alexis Davis. However, the card lost its main event after Jose Aldo was forced to withdraw from his rematch against Chad Mendes due to injury.

Following another dominant win, a member of the production team thought it would be a great idea to have Joe Rogan ask Rousey if she was willing to make a short turnaround and headline the next pay-per-view event:

"The main event for August 2 fell out. It was supposed to be a contest between Jose Aldo and Chad Mendes. The truck just asked me to ask you if you wanna fight on August 2?"

Rousey was caught off-guard and provided a non-committal answer. She revealed that she was already scheduled to go under surgery but added that it should be a quick recovery.

Needless to say, White was unhappy with the question. He immediately approached the production team and yelled:

"Hey, what the f*** are they doing?"

Check out Dana White's reaction:

After the interview, White approached Rousey to apologize. He told her that there weren't any plans to have her compete on short notice.

Dana White tells Ronda Rousey why he didn't want women in UFC and what changed his mind

Dana White once infamously stated that he won't be allowing women into the UFC. However, it's also no secret that Ronda Rousey was instrumental in changing the promoter's mind.

Years after Rousey's retirement from the sport, she reunited with the UFC boss during an episode of the ESPN+ series Rowdy’s Places. Speaking about his controversial comments, White told Rousey:

"Everything in life is about timing... When I was saying we’ll never have women in the UFC, I was having a hard enough time getting men fighting in a cage accepted let alone women. You approached me, and we had like a 45-minute conversation, and halfway through it I started going, ‘Oh my God, I think I’m gonna do this. And she’s definitely the one to do this with.'"
