A video is doing the rounds on social media, which allegedly shows newly signed UFC fighter Sharaputdin Magomedov getting into an altercation with a man over the matter of public display of affection.

Although it is unclear from the video whether the person in question is Magomedov, the uploader of the clip seems to think so, as can be seen from the caption.

In the clip, 'Shara Bullet' can be seen standing behind a couple on an escalator. The couple kiss, which seemingly does not sit well with Magomedov. He then confronts the man about his actions as they get off the escalator.

Things quickly escalate from there as the man punches 'Shara Bullet' and the two get into a scuffle before being separated by the people around them. Moments later, Magomedov again comes across the man and knocks him down with a punch before proceeding to stomp him in the face.

Many in the comments section of the video shared their thoughts on the incident. While some criticized 'Shara Bullet's' actions, others, including Derek Brunson, believed that the Dagestani fighter acted in self-defense after being punched by the other person:

"Looks like he was assaulted and acted in self defense. No question"

A few more comments on the video can be seen below.

When will Sharaputdin Magomedov make his UFC debut?

It was recently announced that the 28-year-old Sharaputdin Magomedov had signed with the UFC. Magomedov is managed by Ali Abdelaziz, who also manages prominent fighters like Kamaru Usman, Justin Gaethje, Kayla Harrison, Cody Garbrandt, Gilbert Burns, Li Jingliang, Beneil Dariush, Kelvin Gastelum and Henry Cejudo.

Fans are excited to see Magomedov compete in the promotion because unlike most Dagestani fighters, the 28-year-old is primarily a striker and a vicious knockout artist.

Although no official date has been set for Magomedov's debut, MMA journalist Brett Okamoto tweeted that the Dagestani fighter might make his first walk to the octagon in May or June of 2023:

"The UFC has signed 28-year-old Sharaputdin Magomedov to a multifight deal, per his manager Ali Abdelaziz. Magomedov is 17-0 with 13 KOs and has experience in professional kickboxing. Expected to make his UFC debut in a May/June timeframe."
