ONE Championship honored Christian Lee's throwback win against Dagi Arslanaliev.
In October 2019, Eddie Alvarez was scheduled to fight Arslanaliev in the ONE Lightweight MMA World Grand Prix Final. Alvarez ended up pulling out with an injury, leading to Lee stepping in to fight at ONE: Century Part I.
At the time, Arslanaliev held a professional MMA record of 7-1, including an ongoing four-fight winning streak, all finishes. As for Lee, he was coming off three consecutive wins, all finishes, meaning someone's impressive run had to end.
Lee and Arslanaliev battled for three rounds to determine the tournament winner. Once the dust settled, 'The Warrior' emerged victorious by unanimous decision.
Earlier this week, ONE Championship shared highlights of Lee's tournament-winning performance against Arslanaliev on Instagram. The following caption was added to the social media post:
"No excuses, just action 🔥"
The ONE Lightweight MMA World Grand Prix isn't Christian Lee's only legendary accomplishment. At 26 years old, 'The Warrior' is a 4x lightweight undisputed world champion and a two-division king after capturing the welterweight throne.

Christian Lee scheduled to make highly-anticipated MMA return
Christian Lee's last ONE Championship appearance was against Kiamrian Abbasov in November 2022. On that night, Lee made history by securing a comeback win against Abbasov to capture the welterweight MMA world title, securing him two-division supremacy.
Following his latest win, Lee's younger sister, Victoria Lee, tragically passed away. 'The Warrior' endured an extended layoff to heal with his family.
On December 6, Lee will make his highly-anticipated return in the ONE Fight Night 26 main event. The 26-year-old is scheduled to defend his lightweight MMA world title against Alibeg Rasulov, who defeated Ok Rae Yoon in his promotional debut.
Rasulov enters ONE Fight Night 26 with an undefeated record of 14-0. The Turkish lightweight looks for the biggest win of his fighting career against Lee.
ONE Fight Night 26 takes place inside the legendary Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. Next Friday's event, which features two world title fights, including Lee vs. Rasulov, can be seen live and for free by North American and Canadian viewers with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription.
