UFC lightweight Rafa Garcia suffered a gruesome cut on his head at UFC Fight Night 216 and busted open an artery.

Fellow UFC fighter Cub Swanson posted a graphic video of the injury on Garcia's head.

Graphic warning: The visuals in the video are graphic in nature and might be disturbing to some viewers.

Rafa Garcia took on Hayisaer Maheshate in a catchweight bout (158.5 pounds) at UFC Fight Night 216. A brutal elbow in the second round opened a nasty cut on 'Gifted's head. However, the 28-year-old bounced back and went on to win the fight via unanimous decision. All three judges scored the contest 30-27 in favor of Garcia.

With the victory on December 17, Garcia bounced back from his loss against Drakkar Klose at UFC 277.

Rafa Garcia has had six fights in the UFC and won three of them. Prior to his UFC debut, the 28-year-old was undefeated with a professional record of 12-0. But 'Gifted' lost his first two fights upon entering the UFC. Garcia bounced back and won his next two encounters before losing to Klose.
