Legendary kickboxer Tyrone Spong stunned fans this week after he was caught on video tackling an anaconda and removing it from the roadside.

Spong is a veteran of combat sports and has competed professionally in boxing, kickboxing, and MMA. The 37-year-old is sporting an undefeated record in the squared circle (14-0) and as a kickboxer is a former WFCA cruiserweight, Glory 95kg Slam, and Showtime 95MAX champion.

The Dutchman most recently competed in just his third MMA fight, appearing for Khabib Nurmagomedoc's EAGLE FC, losing via TKO to Sergei Kharitonov in the second round.

In a video that's been doing the rounds on Twitter, it shows Tyrone Spong bringing his car to a stop and stepping out of the vehicle. The camera pans to a giant anaconda that sits in the road, blocking the cars. Instead of alerting the proper authorities as most would do, the Dutchman opted to subdue the snake by grabbing the back of its head, picking it up, and walking it out of the way of oncoming traffic.

When Tyrone Spong said he could KO Kubrat Pulev, Rampage Jackson and a mystery fighter back-to-back

Tyrone Spong is considered to be one of the toughest fighters in combat sports. The 37-year-old is an experienced boxer, kickboxer, MMA fighter, and an accomplished competitor in Muay Thai.

Back in 2021, the Triller Fight Club held a Triad Combat event, which featured a mix of boxing and MMA rules in a fast-paced team event. The bouts were fought in a specially designed triangular cage and the fighters, who were a mix of boxers and MMA fighters, would face off in two-minute rounds.

At the time, Dominance MMA manager Ali Abdelaziz claimed that his client, Tyrone Spong, would have been able to finish any of the six fighters that faced off. This included the likes of Mike Perry, Kubrat Pulev, and Frank Mir. Former UFC champion Rampage Jackson was also involved in the event as the captain for the MMA fighters.

In response to Abdelaziz on Twitter, Spong claimed that not only would he defeat any of the fighters involved, but he would also have happily faced them back-to-back on the same night:

"I'll stay in that ring, triangle whatever they call it and fight them back to back give me Pulev after Rampage and they can add a bonus after I'm used fighting 3 times a night. Just saying"
