When it comes to the art of Muay Thai, Liam Harrison is a master. As one of the most experienced competitors in ONE Championship, Harrison has been able to use his techniques for his own great success and to improve others.

When he isn’t putting on Muay Thai fight of the year winners, ‘Hitman’ is often found teaching seminars and coaching the next generation of fighters. On his Instagram profile, Liam Harrison recently posted a video of himself breaking down a technique during a seminar.

The caption alongside the video reads:

“Seminars are getting booked thick and fast now, ready for my return from this injury…fully booked July til September."

As one fan pointed out in the comments below the post, Liam Harrison’s technique demonstration is so clear and precise that you can take in all the necessary information without even having the sound on.

@reggie_ivantry also commented:

“That's the kind of left hook that makes ya reconsider professions 😮”

It’s no surprise that Harrison has had so much success when you see him effortlessly break down a technique like that. His knowledge of all things Muay Thai is clear to see and the shocking speed at which he throws the counter strike is enough to make anyone think twice about stepping inside a cage with him.

LOOK: Liam Harrison back in the gym post-surgery and on the road to recovery

Liam Harrison knows the importance of letting his body recover but that doesn’t mean he can’t be smart and work around it.

The ONE bantamweight Muay Thai contender recently underwent surgery on his knee following issues that had continued to rear their heads. Following his first-round loss to bantamweight world champion Nong-O Hama in his last fight, Harrison needed to take some time to fix up his body before jumping right back in.

Unfortunately for the Brit, this meant missing out on two huge contests against Pongsiri PK.Saenchai at ONE Fight Night 6 and an exhibition boxing match in London against Floyd Mayweather.

In an Instagram post, ‘The Hitman’ showed how he is continuing to keep himself in shape by exercising above the waist whilst his leg remains in a brace:

“Been feeling like sh*t recently …dragged myself down to the gym on one leg now I feel better …no excuses”

Though many fighters would take this as an opportunity to relax, that simply isn’t how Liam Harrison operates. As one of the most experienced fighters on the ONE Championship roster with over one hundred Muay Thai contests under his belt, Harrison is determined to keep competing and improving as a fighter.

While many would take “recovery from surgery” as an excuse to stay horizontal, Liam Harrison is doing all that he can to hasten his return to action.
