ONE bantamweight Muay Thai stalwart Liam Harrison is one of the savviest and most technical brawlers in the sport. 'The Hitman' has a lifetime of experience using his limbs to separate men from their consciousness. One of Harrison's most devastating strikes is his left hook, which has allowed him to put away quite a few world-class fighters with one shot.

In one of his instructional videos posted on Instagram, Liam Harrison explained how he figured out how to cleanly land his stepping left hook.

Here's the video:

"Nice way to set up a power hook …very simple but iv found it very effective over the years liamharrisontraining.com link in bio #KO #hook #liamharrison #muaythai @yokkao"

Nobel Prize-winning neurologist Ivan Pavlov would be proud. If you're wondering what Liam Harrison has in common with the Russian scientist, it's his uncanny grasp of mental conditioning. The Leeds, England native conditions his opponent's mind to parry his left hand by constantly touching his glove.

By the time Harrison throws the left hook, his opponent is already conditioned to parry, leaving his chin prone to the kill shot. Better start drilling this in the gym.

Liam Harrison tells Paddy Pimblet about the time he fought grown men as a minor

As previously stated, Liam Harrison, who now fights in ONE Championship, has had a lifetime of experience inside the ring. At an age when people aren't even allowed a driver's license, 'The Hitman' was already beating grown men in the ring.

In a recent clip uploaded to Harrison's Instagram, the veteran spoke with fellow UK fighter Paddy 'The Baddy' Pimblett about the time he beat fighters twice his age:

"Good times 🤣 cheers @adammcgowan_ for the vid 👊🏻 #muaythai #liamharrison #paddypimblett"

Harrison said:

"When I was 15, I fought this kid who was 29 and he was kickboxing world champion. He never fought Thai boxinig though. He didn't know about leg kicks. I stopped him in round 2 with leg kicks."

'The Hitman' continued:

"We went upstairs to the bar and he went, 'I'll buy you a beer.' I went, 'I''ll have a pint.' And they woudn't serve me at the bar 'cause I have no ID. He went, 'How old are you?' I went, 'I'm 15.' Mate, he had a tear rolling down his face. He went, 'I can't show my face anymore around here.' I went, 'Mate, don't worry, everyone thinks I'm 18 or something. Don't worry about it mate.' [laughs]"

There's no shame in losing to a future world champion. If only Liam Harrison's opponent knew that the 15-year-old kid who beat him would eventually become an 8-time world champion, he wouldn't be shedding so many tears.
