UFC recently signed social media sensation Hasbulla Magomedov.

The 20-year-old shot to fame in 2020 through his videos on social media. Since then, the Russian's rise to stardom has been rapid, and he is often spotted alongside compatriot Khabib Nurmagomedov and his teammates.

Hasbulla took to Instagram to announce his signing, while also thanking Dana White and 'The Eagle':

"The rumors are true. I have officially signed a deal to fight in the UFC! Details will be revealed by the end of the year. Thank you to @ufc , @danawhite , @khabib_nurmagomedov , @sungurov_usa , @justinozuna and everyone who helped make this dream become a reality. All my fans will be able to buy a Hasbulla fight kit soon on UFC.com and hasbulla.com."

Hasbulla was part of Islam Makhachev's camp for UFC 280 and also participated in media duties as the promotion's newest signing. This included photoshoots and a walkout promo.

In a video uploaded to Twitter, 'Mini Khabib' is seen making the walkout to the octagon in Hasbulla-branded fight gear. He confidently strides over to the cage to loud cheers from the onlookers and behind-the-scenes staff before throwing a quick combination for the camera.

The newest addition to the roster did not stop at just a walkout as he laid a mock beating on someone from his entourage. He showcased the widely acclaimed ground and pound that his friends from Dagestan are known for.

UFC president Dana White warns Conor McGregor against messing with Hasbulla

Dana White confirmed securing the signature of Hasbulla in an interview with Robbie Fox.

White spoke about the uncertainty of what the promotion plans to do with the young superstar:

"Yes, we did sign Hasbulla. And what he's going to end up doing remains to be seen."

Hasbulla has had multiple social media run-ins with former lightweight champion Conor McGregor. Dana White was sure to warn the Irishman against messing with Hasbulla:

"Conor's gonna f*** around and get his a** whooped if he runs into him [Hasbulla] out in the streets."

Hasbulla was present at UFC 280 as an official part of the company and was octagon-side for the entire pay-per-view in support of multiple athletes. Chief among them was his long-time friend Islam Makhachev.

Makhachev secured the lightweight championship in the main event against Charles Oliveira and celebrated with Hasbulla inside the octagon. Hasbulla's signing could prove to be a marketing masterstroke for Dana White as the Russian has generated plenty of interest from fans worldwide.
