The world's premier MMA organization is bringing its next event, UFC 287, to Miami, Florida on April 8. Pereira and 'The Last Stylebender' have crossed paths three times in combat sports. Their first two fights took place in kickboxing and 'Poatan' walked away with the victory on both occasions.Their third encounter took place in the octagon. The long-time rivals faced off at UFC 281 for the middleweight title. Adesanya was getting the better of the Brazilian for the majority of the fight before Alex Pereira bounced back in the fifth round and scored a TKO victory to win the title. By doing so, Pereira became the first fighter to knock 'The Last Stylebender' out in an MMA fight.
