Paddy Pimblett is returning to the octagon in the last pay-per-view card of the year at UFC 282. The Scouser will take on Jared Gordon on December 10 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The former Cage Warriors featherweight champion is looking to extend his winning streak in the UFC against an opponent he has been calling out for a year.

Jared Gordon is a former featherweight champion for the Cage Fury Fighting Championships. He was KO'd by Charles Oliveira in November 2019. Gordon is definitely a step-up in competition for the Liverpudlian. Gordon has an impressive MMA record of 24 fights, consisting of 19 wins and five losses. He is also a former lightweight champion of Duelo De Giagantes in Mexico.

Just three fights into the UFC, Paddy Pimblett is being dubbed the next Conor McGregor. Despite being new in the promotion, he has built an impressive fanbase with his witty personality, Scouse accent and trash-talk backed by his fighting skills. He has outstanding jiu-jitsu and has worked on his striking a lot since coming to the UFC. Some fans believe the 27-year-old is a future UFC champion.

Logan Paul and Sean O'Malley applaud Paddy Pimblett's UFC run

Logan Paul and the No.1-ranked UFC bantamweight Sean O'Malley are quite impressed by Paddy Pimblett's UFC career. Paul, a college-level wrestler, is an avid MMA and combat sports fan. The YouTuber has also stepped into the boxing ring on multiple occasions but remains winless.

He recently sat down with 'Sugar' on the TimboSugarShow podcast to discuss all things MMA and spoke about 'The Baddy'. O'Malley began the conversation by saying:

"I think Paddy's making some noise. I'm not sure [on] the guy he's fighting, [but] I think he's making some noise. I like watching people with big characters, so I think he's exciting to watch."

Paul replied:

"I want Paddy's streak to continue, I really do. I think he's a great lad. I've said some sh** about him in the past, and I'll say some sh** about him in the future, and I'll say some sh** about him right now, but at the end of the day, I think it's pretty objective that Paddy is f***ing fun to watch... He's got the look, he's got everything... The lad's got it."

Logan Paul has also called out Pimblett in the past:
