UFC Hall of Famer Michael Bisping hopes YouTube star KSI will get the job done when he faces Bellator's Dillon Danis in the squared circle next year.

KSI and Danis are set to main-event MISFITS & DAZN X SERIES 004 in January 2023, which will be held at the OVO Arena in London. The bout was announced earlier this year during Misfits Boxing's third event, where both men were invited to the ring for a showdown in front of the live crowd.

Michael Bisping has weighed in on the upcoming fight on Instagram, sharing a clip of himself and KSI practicing MMA in 2018 to promote UFC 3, the video game. 'The Count' hoped the British fighter will walk away victorious but admitted he'd be suprised if Danis showed up:

"Throwback to training with @ksi a little bit ago. Great laughs and a solid work ethic. Good luck Vs D*ldo Dannis mate. If he even shows up that is haha."

This isn't the only time Bisping has dicussed the fight either. Back in November, the former UFC middleweight champion tweeted a sarcastic remark towards the American's boxing skills:

"Tough call. I mean you're known for having devastating boxing skills right. I fear @KSI may of messed up here."

Dillon Danis reveals he had to pay Bellator to accept his fight with KSI

Dillon Danis recently stated that he's been forced to pay MMA promotion Bellator to accept his bout with 'The Nightmare' because the fight will be shown on Showtime and DAZN, their direct rivals.

'El Jefe' appeared on the latest episode of Ariel Helwani's The MMA Hour to discuss his upcoming fight against KSI. According to the American, the fee that he's been forced to pay Scott Coker and Bellator is likely more than any UFC fighter has had to:

"Showtime and DAZN are rivals so I had to pay a hefty fee. I don't know if I'm supposed to be talking about how much. I can say how much. I need my publicist. I don't want to get in trouble with [Bellator CEO Scott] Coker, but it's a lot of money. What I'm paying Coker to let me fight is more than probably everyone in the UFC."

Danis added:

"Not to let me out, I'm still with them. It would be different if it were with Showtime because, with Showtime, [Bellator has] a deal with them... [Coker] wants me to come back to MMA. His star. Obviously, there's no one in Bellator that's going to bring that kind of noise. Who brings that much hype?"

Despite remaining on Bellator's roster, the 29-year-old fighter has only fought twice for the promotion, with his last fight coming over three years ago.
