Shader Optimization in Throne and Liberty, like in many other games, is a procedure that makes the game run smoothly. However, several players have been facing issues where this process gets stuck. Some have even reported the process getting stuck at zero percent. That said, this is just a bug with a couple of easy ways to fix it.
In this article, we will talk about how you can potentially fix this Shader Optimization error in this free-to-play MMORPG.
Throne and Liberty: How to fix Shader Optimization error
Shader Optimization is one of the startup processes that occur when you launch Throne and Liberty for the first time. However, as mentioned, some of you might face the bug that causes the Shader Optimization error.

If you run into this error, simply restarting the game usually helps overcome it in most cases. Once you restart, you can log in and continue the process. You might need to restart the game more than once. If the problem persists even then, you will have to verify the game files, as they might be corrupted.
To do this, you just need to go into the game properties, then select 'Installed files', and then click on the option to 'Verify integrity of game files'.

Once you are done with this process, you might face some shader issues in Throne and Liberty. This might make your graphics look weird. If this happens, go to game settings and select the 'Graphics' option.
Under 'Graphics', select 'Quality', and go to the setting called 'Shader Preloading'. For many players, this option might be set to 'Epic' by default. Change this to 'High', or even lower if you need to, and then restart the game. Once you are done with this, the game should work smoothly.
