NCSOFT's upcoming MMO Throne and Liberty is nearing its highly anticipated global release. However, just days ahead of the release, a slight mishap from the developers has caused some confusion among players. According to reports, the system requirements on the official Steam page of the game are downplayed and don't match the information shared on the official website.

Throne and Liberty is a new MMORPG that lets players explore a massive, ever-changing world where they engage in both PvE and PvP. The title is quite graphics-heavy, so you will need a decent gaming rig to experience it to its fullest. However, due to this Throne and Liberty system requirements error, players are somewhat confused about whether their devices will be able to run the game.

According to the system requirements section on Steam, the game can run on a humble GTX 960, which is considered the bare minimum for running modern games. While the title isn't as graphically demanding as the latest Space Marine 2, which will be unplayable with anything less than an RTX 30 series, fans still believed the MMO would need at least something stronger than a GTX 960.

Their concerns are quite valid because the information on the Steam page is drastically different from the specs mentioned on the official website. While the recommended specs on the Steam store suggest a GTX 1660, the same GPU is deemed "minimum" on the official website.

Even the RAM and CPU recommendations seemed different in the two sources. Steam recommends an Intel Core i5-6500 processor and memory of 8 GB RAM as a minimum, while the official website states RAM 16GB and CPU i5-7700 as the minimum. However, we think the description on the official website has slight errors because, as far as we know, the i5-7700 doesn't exist.

There haven't been any official statements on this issue yet. So saying which of these specs is correct would be impossible at the moment. That said, due to the GPU error on the official website, we speculate that the Steam page requirements could be the actual ones, but only an official statement can confirm so.
