Carson Hocevar is among the newest crop of drivers to enter the NASCAR Cup Series after earning a full season in the topmost division of Stock car racing. He is contending for the Rookie of the Year, driving the no. 77 Chevy Camaro ZL1 for Spire Motorsports.

Hocevar was the second best Rookie until the Coca-Cola 600 race in the 2024 Cup Series season. He has acquired 211 points with a best finish of 10th position at the Texas Motor Speedway. Carson Hocevar made headlines in 2023 with his performances in the Truck Series while racing for Niece Motorsports and his limited run in the Xfinity Series.

Hocevar has been racing since he was seven years old, collecting 79 victories and 15 national championships. He started racing Super Late Model Championships but had to stop as NASCAR banned all drivers below the age of 14.
