Son of two-time Grand National Champion, Dale Arnold Jarrett is a retired American race car driver and current commentator for NBC. In April 1977, Jarrett entered his first professional race in the Limited Sportsman Division in Hickory with a 1968 Chevrolet Nova. Jarrett is best known for winning the Daytona 500 thrice in 1993, 1996, and 2000 and the NASCAR Winston Cup Series Championship in 1999 as per Wikipedia. Like his father, Jarrett was also inducted into the NASCAR Hall Of Fame in January 2014.

In 1982, Jarrett competed in the NASCAR Budweiser Late Model Sportsman Series. Later, Jarrett’s NASCAR Cup Series debut came in 1984 at the Sovran Bank 500, Martinsville for Emanuel Zervakis, driving the No. 02 Chevrolet. His Xfinity Series career kicked off back in 1982, at Goody’s 300, Daytona. Jarrett has had 668 races over 24 years in the Cup Series with a win total of 32 and 328 races over 20 years in the Xfinity Series with a win total of 11.
