Andre Santos: A Brief Biography
André Clarindo dos Santos simply known as André Santos, is a Brazilian football player who plays for Arsenal and the Brazil national football team as a left back and can also be deployed as a left winger. Santos started his youth career by Figueirense where he made his debut in a friendly game against Corinthians for Figueirense in the year 2004. Thereafter he played on loan for Flamengo and Atletico Mineiro where he played 22 games in Serie A , 28 Games and scored 17 goals in Serie B in the year 2005. Andre played with Corinthians in the year 2008, there he won the Série B, Copa do Brasil and Campeonato Paulista. In the following year, he signed Turkish club Fenerbahçe and moved to Arsenal. On August 31st, 2009 Santos signed Arsenal with a long-term contract where he scored his first goal for Arsenal in a UEFA Champions League and lost one match against Olympiacos due to his serious injury would keep him out for three months.
