Kiel Brown: A Brief Biography

Kiel Brown is an Australian field hockey player who earned a bronze medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics and a gold medal at the 2011 Men\'s Hockey Champions Trophy. He is trying to secure a spot on the 2012 Summer Olympics. Brown plays the midfield position. He played club hockey for Wesley South Perth in 2007 but did not hang around till the final season as he was called up to the national team. Brown\'s first senior national cap came in 2007 against the Netherlands. He was a member of the Kookaburras squad that competed it in the Dutch Series in Canberra. In 2008, he competed at and earned a bronze medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics. In 2010, he won a gold medal at the World Cup in Delhi. In May 2011, he played in the Azlan Shah Cup for Australia. He was also notably part of the team that competed in the 2012 Summer Olympics.
