Liam de Young: A Brief Biography
Liam de Young is an Australian field hockey player who plays as a midfielder for the Indian Hockey team. He is a member of Australia men\'s national field hockey team, winning a gold medal with the team at the 2002 Commonwealth Games, a bronze medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics, a gold medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics and a bronze medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics. De Young made his senior national team debut in 2001. He won a gold medal at the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester, England and another gold at the 2004 Summer Olympics. He won a bronze medal at the 2008 Summer Olympicsplaying in every match at the Games for Australia. In 2010, he played in the final game of the season for his state team in the Australian Hockey League. He was part of the team that represented Australia at the 2012 Summer Olympics.
