Lolo

Manuel Jesús Ortiz Toribio also known as Lolo is a Spanish Professional footballer who is a versatile player who can play for both the positions that are as the central defender or defensive midfielder.

Born on 22 August 1984 he currently plays for FC Pune City in the Indian Super League. Hailing from Huelva, Spain he played for the Sevilla in his Youth Career between the period of 1999-2002.

He has been presented by many teams in his Senior career like Sevilla B, Sevilla, Málaga, Osasuna, Zaragoza, Elche, Hercules and Pune City.

Club Career

Having started his youth career with Sevilla he started playing as a senior with the B side of the team and also helping a remarkable win against the Burgos CF by scoring a goal against it and thereby being promoted to the second level in 2007.

He made his debut in the La Liga campaign in which he made two match appearances. He has made a significant performance in the La Liga matches having scored 9 goals in the very competition.

Before that in December he has made his first appearance in the UEFA Champions League having won the match by 3-0, he made a good presentation theirs.

In the 2008-09 season, he was subsequently loaned to the neighbors that are the Málaga CF and played constantly at the position of defensive midfielder. In 2010 he scored his first goal being a Seville managing a win of 2-1 against the former club Malaga.

After Seville, he has been loaned to CA Osasuna for a contract of 4 years and constantly played for the position of the central defender in his debut campaign. He also helped the club by scoring goals against the Hércules CF and RCD Espanyol. He moved abroad having played much for the domestic clubs in 2018 and was hired by the Indian club. Indian Super League club FC Pune City have recruited two new international players, one of which is Lolo and the club expects much from this central defender.
