Rob Moore: A Brief Biography

Robert Stephen Moore is a prominent player in the English hockey team. A talented and versatile player, he was recruited to play in the England\'s under 21 on a trial basis when he was just 16 years of age. He debuted in August 1998 with his first tournament- the Under 21\'s European Cup in Poznan, where the team also managed to pick up a silver medal. Since then Moore has racked up an impressive 190 caps playing for both England and Great Britain in tournaments that included European Championships, Olympics, Common wealth games and World Cups over the years. Moore has always been at the top of his game, continuously having a new goal in sight. To further diversify his skills, Moore played in his first indoor capped tournament in Poznan, Poland on 8th February 2011. He is intrumental in England winning a gold at the European Championship in 2009, a silver at the Champions Trophy 2010 and a bronze at the European Championship in 2011. In addition to playing internationally, Moore also plays in the national league and is at present playing for Wimbledon,
