Víctor Ruiz Torre is a Spanish footballer who plays central defense for Valencia CF. Ruiz joined RCD Espanyol's youth ranks in 2006 at the age of 17. He made his senior debut in 2008-09 helping the reserve side win in its Tercera División group. In December 2009, Ruiz made his first ever debut with Espanyol's team starting and losing against Racing de Santander in a 0–4 home loss. He took two goals that season: against Málaga CF and Atlético Madrid. In 2011, he was sold off to S.S.C. Napoli, in a four and a half year contract, for €6 million. In August, Ruiz returned back Spain, consending to a five-year deal with Valencia CF.
