Winston Reid: A Brief Biography
Winston Wiremu Reid is a Danish-New Zealand footballer who plays as a defender for West Ham United in the Premier League and the All Whites (New Zealand). Reid was one of the first players to graduate from FCM\'s football academy soon after which he was offered a professional contract with FC Midtjylland. All of 17, Reid made his FC Midtjylland debut in the Royal League tournament against Norwegian side Vålerenga in a 4–0 win, substituting for David Nielsen. In August 2010, Reid signed for West Ham United on a three year contract. He made his Premier League debut shortly after and scored his first goal for West Ham in the 5–1 win against Burnley in the FA Cup on 21 February 2011 followed by his first ever Premier League goal in West Ham\'s 3-0 vitcory against Fulham on 1 September 2012.
